Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

As a practitioner in training, Cranio sessions are on a volunteer basis and 'free' [30-50 minutes]. This service is currently only offered at my Atelier.

Biodynamic Cranio what???

A gentle hands-on therapy that supports the body’s natural goal to find optimal health and postural balance.

Craniosacral therapy was developed in the early 1900s from the findings of a US Osteopath, Dr William Sutherland. These findings show that, in health, all living tissue (muscles, bones, nerves, fluid) express a subtle rhythmic motion, which has been called Primary Respiration. The full and balanced expression of Primary Respiration is fundamental to good health. However, factors such as accidents, injuries, stresses, toxicity or emotional problems can affect Primary Respiration and therefore health.

At this point in time...

I am currently enrolled as a student at the C.T.E.T. and sessions are strickly explorative and used to develop my skills of listenin' to different body's rhythmic motions and identify areas of stress or strain in the body. Using biodynamic craniosacral skills, I will provide an opportunity for the body to recognise and release inertial patterns, invite restoration of Primary Respiration and therefore a healthier state of being.

Many conditions can respond well to Craniosacral treatment such as stress, anxiety, depressions, chronic fatigue, digestive disorders, headaches, hormonal disorders, insomnia, migraine, tinnitus, hyperactivity, dizziness, muscular pain and more!

What happens in a Cranio session?

During a session, usually, you will lie fully clothed on a treatment table and experience the light touch of the therapist’s hands. You may feel a deep relaxation and possibly become aware of heat, tingling, pulsations or other sensations.

Cranosacral Therapy is suitable for all ages.
